You knew it was coming, I knew it as coming, and sure enough the most downloaded movie of the week is exactly what we all expect. It’s a Civil War at the top of the list, let’s see what else was downloaded often this week!
Do you feel that? That was every comic book nerd, and casual fan alike, yelling “SPIDER-MAN!” all at the same time as the webbed wonder graced the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time. I will admit that I saw it April 27 as it debuted early here, but Marvel geeks everywhere realized how special it was to have Spider-Man playing with everyone else in Captain America: Civil War. Expect to see a lot of it in the top 10 most downloaded movies list for the next few weeks, just as you’re going to see it in theatres many times. Am I right?!?
The resurgence of The Finest Hours is odd. It was off the list for 3 or 4 weeks now after just one appearance, but suddenly all of these new versions popped up. They can’t all be genuine so be careful. How to be Single shooting up to number 3 is disappointing. I still can’t believe I paid money to watch that, it’s still not worth the bandwidth. Even my girlfriend hated it, so this isn’t a gender bias. Take note that the only good version of The Boss circulating right now has Chinese subtitles hardcoded …much to my disappointment.
The list is closed out by some old favorites on the list: The Jungle Book and Kung Fu Panda 3. You guys can’t seem to get enough of Jack Black as a panda, eh? Creeping back up onto the list at number 10 is Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. There’s a new 1080p version making the rounds. It’s only 3 or 4 days old at this point and I couldn’t find any comments on wether it was legit or not on KAT, or Pirate Bay.
