A VPN is a service that encrypts your internet connection. Among many things, it helps protect your privacy, it keeps you anonymous, and it allows you to bypass internet censorship.
Every VPN is different in their own way. Some are reliable but too complicated. Others are easy to use, but are limited in some way. We’ve reviewed over 120+ VPN services in a search to find the best. A fair warning: The 5 Best VPN Providers are pretty awesome.
We’ll share our experiences, recommend providers that have actually delivered, and offer some helpful guides and tips.
IPVanish excells at three very important things for a VPN provider: The reliability of their connection The speed of their connection Their dedication to privacy and anonymity Putting those three together with their competitive pricing, and their exceptional Tier-1 network, and you have a VPN provider that ranks at the top of our list, and that should rank at the top of yours. To summarize IPVanish in one sentence: They do everything a VPN provider should, and they do it better than anyone else. IPVanish is one of the best VPN Providers, the fastest we tested and they had one of the best customers support teams in the industry. Highly Recommended!
IPVanish is my favorite VPN. Super fast and tons of features. It sometimes has issues connecting but nothing major. Well worth it. I opted for 12 months for the discount and it was well worth it. Also... View More
This is my personal IPVanish review I want to share with others. First of all, IPVanish offers one of the best and simplest to use VPNs on the market. It looks nice, works exactly as it should (most of... View More
I absolutely love IPVanish. Great VPN, tons of features and always reliable. I have it on always on, so I'm always connected and sometimes I don't even notice it's there. I occasionally check my IP Address... View More
A good program for a decent price that allows me a certain level of privacy on the internet. I am satisfied with this product. We all need privacy, this gets it done.
Its ok but needs better speed...
Excellent VPN and very Fast! I've used it on both my laptop and iPad without any problems! Very easy to setup and makes my life easier. A+
StrongVPN offers one of the most comprehensive VPN services in the world. Their network is good, spanning 24 popular countries, while still retaining adequate speed and reliability. StrongVPN’s VPN software is adequate, but switching between servers is clunky. Their pricing is about average, but you really get a great VPN service in return. We would recommend StrongVPN for most users, especially if your main usage is browsing, video/music streaming (such as Netflix), or traveling internationally while wanting to unlock content in your home country. They do not rank higher because nothing that they do really stands out. Their software is adequate, but doesn't have the advanced features or smooth functionality of those which we rank higher. They don't have an excessive exceptional price for this lower level of client, so they are going to remain ranking right around mid-pack.
Very good program. works well in asian pacific area.
They may have a good VPN service, easy to use and tons of servers. Would have given 5 stars, but their support took too long to get back to me. :/
The best vpn I've used in a long time. It's very fast, never crashes and always has fast servers nearby wherever I travel to. Never had an issue.
VyprVPN does many things very well, and their partnership with SpiderOak for encrypted storage is a real bonus. Use it if you need encrypted storage that is also transported with top-notch encryption. With 15+ years of experience in the Internet industry, and a strong dedication to privacy from spying, VyprVPN offers you an exceptional Tier-1 network. Everything you do with them, including billing, their server network, and support, is handled by VyprVPN and the Golden Frog Network parent company. VyprVPN can't be recommended to those who wish to do torrenting or P2P file sharing. This against their Terms of Service. With their logging policy also clearly established, it is not hacker or spammer friendly at all. They will use their logs to work with law enforcement when a subpoena is presented to them. VyprVPN is recommended for those who want to do general browsing, video streaming, and to unlock geo-blocked content. It is also great on public Wi-Fi for anti-hacker defense. They have above-average pricing, but their extra features and Tier-1 network do make them a good deal if you are looking for exactly what they offer.

software is easy to use, but their UK VPN blows. High latency and lack of proper support for streaming media on port 1925. In 2014 it was a bit sketchy, but it worked. By the end of the year and in 2015... View More
I've been a customer of VyprVPN for about a month and I'm completely sold on it. It's by far the fastest and most reliable VPN I've ever used. I haven't had any slow downs, including while playing my ... View More
Private Internet Access chose to do one thing very well, and they have succeeded. They are perhaps the most anonymous, private, and confidential of all the VPN providers out there, and this has built great trust amongst those in the VPN industry. Their simplistic software lends itself well to beginner users, while more advanced users will be turned off by the lack of error notifications. Setting everything up is a breeze no matter your experience level, and anyone could connect to a VPN server in minutes. If you want complete anonymity on the Internet, you don’t need to look any further than PIA. Their slower P2P traffic, lack of advanced features, and low diversity of countries with servers (just 25), is the only thing holding them back from the top of every VPN provider list.
PIA have a great support with great speed and best security with best privacy with no logging
When HideMyAss would not work from Indonesia I tried PIA and it works perfectly with no sign of any issues for almost a year now. The price is great and speeds have never been an issue.
I have been using PIA a while now. Whilst the software uses the Ruby Assembly Compilers and creates random files in random directories (Sending firewalls like Comodo beserk (However there is a workaround... View More
Yes, without a doubt! A VPN (virtual private network) is one of the best ways to protect your online identity, stay anonymous and bypass restrictions effortlessly.
They’re easy-to-use (one click to connect), it won’t slow down your internet or computer, and you can use it anywhere (Smartphone, Tablet, Router, etc.). We’ve used them for years because they work – whether we’re at home, the office, or traveling aboard.
Common Uses for a VPN
It’s simple to understand. A VPN acts as a middle man between you and the internet. It encrypts all of the information that goes out, keeping you anonymous while you’re online. No one can see what you’re doing or who you are, and thus you gain the freedom of the truly open internet. Not only does this make your internet connection and activity secure, but you can virtually change your location, access censored websites, and bypass throttling restrictions (making your Internet faster). All for about 10-20 cents a day.
