Anonine VPN Review
Anonine VPN is a good VPN provider with lots of perks and some downsides. It provides a decent set of features.
Anonine VPN Review Summary
Anonine VPN is a Swedish VPN provider founded in 2008. This VPN provider offers a comprehensive set of features, which we definitely liked. The server network, however, doesn’t match the quality of its features—there are only around 150 servers in 34 countries. We didn’t like the fact that live chat support was offline during the time of our review. The company also has a short seven-day money-back guarantee.
With prices starting at $6.99 per month, we still think that Anonine VPN offers a pretty good deal. If you are looking for excellent choices, check out our reviews of the top VPN providers, and find a VPN provider with an already proven record.
Anonine VPN Features
Anonine VPN has a comprehensive feature set that includes both basic and advanced VPN features. Its most prominent traits include:
- OpenVPN/Stunnel, IPSec, IKEv2, L2TP/IPSec, PPTP
- Unlimited bandwidth
- Up to five simultaneous connections
- 2048-bit encryption
- No-logging policy
- P2P support
- Unlimited speed
This feature set deserves some praise. Almost every feature that is important to a VPN provider is included here, though Anonine VPN could have improved this set more if it added a kill switch and leak protection feature. Without these features we can’t add it to our list of the best VPNs for P2P and torrenting.
Anonine VPN SERVERS & COUNTRIES
While the feature set is good, we can’t say the same for Anonine VPN’s server network. Its entire server network consists only of 150+ servers in 34 countries. That isn’t good enough for a provider striving to become part of the top VPNs in the industry.
The biggest number of servers is in the US with nine, followed by Sweden with four, and the UK and Canada with three each. The rest of the countries have either one or two servers.
Although this kind of server network is relatively good, it’s not top-notch material. See a provider like Strong VPN, with their 660+ servers, for a better example of a quality network.
Reliability & Speed Tests
According to their website, Anonine VPN provides unlimited speed and bandwidth. It also states that VPN servers have an uptime of 99%, which is not bad at all.
As there are no further details about server capacity, download limit, and average speed, we can’t make any definite statements about Anonine’s speed and stability. We only found this trivial statement in the knowledge base:
Pricing and Payments
Anonine VPN offers three pricing plans: monthly, three-month, and yearly. All pricing plans include the same features. The yearly plan is the most cost-efficient, providing savings of up to 43%.
The monthly package comes at $6.99 per month which is justified considering the quality of Anonine VPN’s services, and is a decent price. Their yearly price puts them as a cheap VPN, but their quality isn’t quite up to those on our list of the Best Cheap VPNs.
Anonine VPN accepts payments through major credit cards, PayPal, cryptocurrencies, Perfect Money, Global Payments, and Bitcoin. Swedish customers can also pay through phone and SMS.
Support
Anonine VPN’s customer support is insufficient, and this is probably the section where we are disappointed the most. While the live chat window popped up, we received no answer whatsoever after trying to make contact numerous times.
We found the rest of the support sections on the website:
- FAQ
- Knowledge base
- Troubleshooting
- Setup guides
- Support ticket
Customer support is not bad content-wise. The company offers thorough and simple explanations on some important VPN terms, and it provides insightful guides for those users that are not very familiar with VPNs. We still rate customer support as mediocre, as the live chat support is a waste of time.
POLICIES & LOGGING
Apart from offering solid customer support, a top-tier VPN provider must also provide strong customer protection policies. Let’s see what Anonine VPN offers in this area:
- Privacy policy: Anonine VPN collects minimum personal data, including your email address, payment history, conversations with support staff, traffic used, user ID, and the number of existing simultaneous connections. The company claims to share your personal data only with the following third parties:
- Refund policy: Anonine VPN provides a no-questions-asked, seven-day money-back guarantee. Refund requests sent after seven days won’t be admitted.
- No-logging policy: Anonine VPN has a strict no-logging policy. As its goal is to provide you with the ultimate privacy protection, the company allows you to enjoy maximum online anonymity.
Except for the relatively short refund policy, Anonine VPN offers strong customer protection policies.
Expert Recommendation
Anonine VPN is a good VPN provider with lots of perks and some downsides. It provides a decent set of features. We also liked the fact that it has strong customer protection policies, with its no-logging policy being particularly commendable.
We didn’t like its customer support as live chat support was offline during the time we tried to reach them. We also didn’t like the relatively short refund policy and the small server network. If you want to go with a proven VPN provider, we recommend that you check out our reviews of the top VPN providers.

Fine. But has a habit of exiting when phone isn’t being used.
I am surprised...
I’m surprised by such a service! Speed keeps the same even I browse a lot through the Internet and have a business-trip every week. I work in a huge company so privacy is important for me. I had to be sure that no one could have access to my personal data, even a VPN provider. Considering their privacy policy I know that every folder is under their protection. Works great, no bugs, fast enough. Recommend to everyone!
Good choice
A friend of mine has recommended it. Already in use for 2 months, a few bugs have been noticed but quite minor ones. Installed it as on my iphone as on PC. Nice speed, user-friendly apps, good knowledge base. Good choice for its price.
A miracle for that price
I am not an advanced user, so simplicity and ease of use are important to me. And indeed, there are no problems, it connects quickly and works fast, for such a sum is a miracle. Especially comparing with similar services, which are several times more expensive. Thanks to the developers for such a necessary program!
Glad to use
I believe that this service provides the highest quality protection and at the same time, the connection speed does not fall. In contrast to the well-known service, in which there are 2 types of connections – through regular servers and through special ones, where the last one gives the opportunity to download torrents, in this service all servers are suitable for torrents. You can install this application on a regular home PC or laptop with Windows, or on a smartphone – there is an Android or iOS application. It’s also attractive that by paying for services and starting to use them, you can request a refund within 7 days if you don’t like the service. It is necessary for this to contact support. The staff is Swedish-speaking, that is, the request can be safely written in Swedish. Payment methods abound: by credit card, from PayPal wallet, accept Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
Good, useful service
With the Anonine service, you can connect to the desired server from 5 devices and work simultaneously from all. At the same time, I want to note that the connection speed almost does not fall. Of course, at first I had to experiment with certain geo-locations and, as a result, I found the most acceptable servers for myself. American servers gave a bigger drop in speed, which is quite understandable because of the distance to them. But for European servers, the drop was only 5 Mbit / s. There are 3 tariff plans. The most profitable – for 1 year. If you pay for a month, then the services will cost almost 7 dollars, and if you pay immediately for 1 year, then the cost will be only 3.99 dollars what is quite a reasonable price.
The best one!
One of the coolest VPNs in the world. I like that registration place (Seychelles), it is not under American or European jurisdiction, therefore it guarantees 100% privacy with network activity and does not keep logs, this is checked. The service also constantly evolves and expands, opens new servers in different countries and improves existing ones. To bypass all sorts of geo-locks, this is the best option. Personally, I even get to watch Netflix and other streaming services. Even if you want to go deep in the settings, there is no need to contact the support. A well-made FAQ solves most questions. Price is also not a question, it is the best on the market.
Definitely the best service
I use Anonine for over six months. Going to compare it with NordVPN because it has been used before throughout the year. I’ll start with the price. Considering that the cheapest option (one-year plan) cost me $7/month, Anonine’s price $3.99 sounds much better. Servers. 5000 servers, seriously? Who needs this amount, given that because of them there is such a mad price. More than 150 Anonine servers do an excellent job with the entire load, especially since they are scattered in 35 countries. What can we say about the service, which was founded in Sweden, a country with a percentage of the population is 96.4% connected to the Internet? Almost 97 percent, Carl! Definitely the best service — support, servers, affiliate program, and price.
The service blows my mind
Given all the features and capabilities of Anonine VPN, it’s hard to believe that the service manages to keep the prices of its services so low. So, a yearly subscription will cost you less than $ 4 per month. This is an extremely advantageous offer. If during the first 7 days of service using something does not suit you, you can safely get your money back. I am glad that by providing this level of services, they agree to refund without any questions.
Nice one.
I didn’t have any problems with this provider, so I am about to renew my subscription for another year. Easy-to-use iOS app, that’s all what I need. Speed is quite good, the price is great. Had changed my device from Android to iOS because of security. Have said this because Anonine does not keep any logs. Had been checked by our team.
Such as useful VPN
Never thought that a VPN could be so practical, but a few days ago I’ve booked a couple of flights on the airlines’ websites through Anonine VPN service (Spanish IP). It worked so great that saved me more than 120 euros… I’ve been doing such things via NordVPN but something cracked in their app and Anonine is my choice now. So I highly recommend it for wider use.
Incredible Service
First of all, I’d like to mention the simplicity of the windows application (btw, there are apps for any OS). Easy to use, every useful thing is on the screen. Second, their cs team. I’ve read a few reviews about supporters’ poor work but an experience that I had shows them only from a great side. To sum up, great and amazing VPN for a price-quality ratio which I’m definitely going to use for this year.

Not as impressive as Express or Nord but you definitely get what you paid for. I really like that they accept a bunch of crypto coins no other service would touch.

Decent VPN and not too expensive. Works really well but I have to complain about user support since they didn’t know what I was talking about half the time. Really need to up your support game guys otherwise a perfectly serviceable VPN.
Anonine is CRAP
DO not use this site they will take your money and won’t provide any service. they have no customer service
Bad connection
They dont fix the problems you having they 30 Mbit up and down is ther maximum. At this momentet I cant surf at all….
Anonine: Great VPN Provider
Been with them for a couple of years; almost no downtime, except once at the beginning, when they were overhauling their infrastructure/servers, extremely fast & stable connections with very few drop-outs, lots of exit nodes in many countries, IP shuffling, all major VPN protocols, no restrictions, (allegedly) a no-logging policy, and last but not least some really good discounts. Their support is so-so, but I always received answers to support questions, not very detailed, but at least they don’t stay quiet. They now also have a proprietary VPN client software, but I prefer to use their OpenVPN config files with my own client; setting it up yourself is a no-brainer, but their manuals are quite detailed. Would give them 4 ½ stars, but that’s not possible, so it’s 5.
Anonine: Very good VPN provider
Been with them for four years now and their service has been very good. Good speed No downtime Helpful Service, they will reply (helped me setup Linux Mint). Easy to setup and use (they have good guides).
Anonine - my best choice in 2018
I started using it last year. In contrast to other well-known services – Very good speed, no logs and an acceptable price. Good enough support service, respond quickly. Of the negative – not very informative site.
