Top Tuvpn Review Providers

TUVPN Review

Before you buy a VPN suitable for Your Needs from the first company you find, check the reviews. We test, review and rate the top services for Tuvpn Review. We want to make sure you get the highest quality Tuvpn Review, the fastest turnaround time, the best support, the lowest price, and the guarantees to back it up. Don’t waste your money on scams or poor-quality providers.

Avoid the scams and use the services that actually work below:

TUVPN is a VPN provider that is based in the British Virgin Islands. They’ve been in business since 2012, but run a small network covering just 10 countries. It claims to offer a fast service that also gives users strong security.

One thing that we do like about the provider is that it offers both shared and dedicated IP addresses. Beyond that, it comes as a fairly standard VPN. The small network also limits the options you can get from them.

We also found it cumbersome to use with its complicated setup process. The final issue we had are the contentious logging policies. Because of these concerns, we recommend that you instead choose an alternative from our list of the best providers we have reviewed.

TUVPN offers fairly standard features. When you sign up for an account, you get:

  • Multiple protocol support (Open VPN, SSH2, L2TP, PPTP)
  • Unlimited traffic
  • Shared and dedicated IP address
  • 256-bit encryption
  • P2P support

Despite this small feature list, the provider claims that it is continuously adding new ones to its repertoire.

One notable item in the list is the shared IP address. With this type of IP address, you get access to all of its servers. You get five ports on selected servers, and these are changed whenever you connect to the network for increased security. The company also offers dedicated IP addresses which give you more flexibility in the type of services you can connect to using the VPN.

Another feature worth mentioning is the SSH2 support. This protocol lets you connect to the VPN through different applications. This is particularly handy when you are using mobile devices since you can just connect from your chosen application.

Servers and countries

TUVPN’s network currently has servers in 10 countries, including:

  • The United Kingdom
  • The Netherlands
  • France
  • Russia
  • Spain

All of these countries are located in the western hemisphere. If you are looking to access content from these regions (such as Netflix), this is no issue. If you want more location options, such as those in Asia, then you would be better off looking at our list of the best VPNs for China as they all cover Asia well.

TUVPN doesn’t list the exact number of its servers on the site, but based on the number of locations, we can infer that it isn’t that large. This means you have fewer options when testing servers for a good connection. If you want more flexibility, then you should instead opt for a VPN provider like CyberGhost which has thousands of servers available.

Speed and reliability

TUVPN claims to offer a fast connection for all of its servers. To bolster that claim, it provides a speed test tool that gives approximate speeds for each server based on your location. The test will then recommend the best server for you.

TUVPN Speed Test

You do need to take the results with a grain of salt. The site does not explain how the test is conducted, such as what type of load is used. This makes it difficult to compare with speeds you get from actual use. Still, we do like that they’ve put this effort into their service, and hope they add a server uptime section soon.

Pricing and payments

TUVPN provides different pricing plans for the two IP address types you get. For shared IP addresses, you get these plans.

TUVPN Pricing Shared IP

The dedicated IP service comes with these plans. You can choose your IP address location from the drop-down menu.

TUVPN Pricing Dedicated IP

The two sets of plans don’t have much difference from each other. You need to create an account first to order.

You can pay through credit cards, Paysafecard, or bank transfer.

The site mainly provides customer assistance through support tickets. When you create your ticket, you can select the department and the level of priority. The site also lets you check the status of the ticket, but it doesn’t give you an estimate of response time.

TUVPN also has various setup tutorials for the different platforms it supports. You will need these, as setting up the VPN is rather complex and can only be done manually. There is also a blog that posts some useful articles on optimizing your connections.

Policies and logging

TUVPN states that it is based in the British Virgin Islands, and thus, not required to keep logs. According to its Terms of Service, however, it may monitor user activity if requested by law enforcement authorities. This certainly runs counter to its claim and can create openings for potential logging.

Its privacy policy also revealed that it does collect and store users’ information. The policy further states that the data will be stored for six months. While that stored data is encrypted, we still feel that the storage period is too long and negates the principles of a no logs policy. If you want to get a provider that offers a true no logs policy, you can check our list for the best recommendations.

Expert recommendations

Based on our TUVPN review, this provider comes off as an average one. While we do like the fact that it gives you both shared and dedicated IP addresses, there is not a lot more that makes this provider stand out. The small network size further limits the service’s usability.

We are also concerned about the site’s logging policies. These are stated in a way that lets the company store logs as long as it likes. The fact that it also stores user information for a lengthy amount of time is another red flag. Because of these issues, we recommend that you choose a better-rated provider from our top 10 list.
