Established in 2009, VPNShazam is a VPN provider located in Palestine that offers quality and reliable VPN services. With over 18,000 servers and 300,000 IPs across 140 countries, VPNShazam has certainly come a long way in terms of raw numbers.
Its goal is to be deemed as a top-quality VPN provider, and it’s well on its way to achieving that. It offers quality features. It has a large server network which makes it ideal for geo-unblocking. Its customer support is also good, though there is room for improvement as live chat support was offline when we tried to make contact. It can also offer better customer protection policies.
VPNShazam is a good provider, but it still has some work to do to be ranked as top-notch. If you’re looking for proven, reliable VPN providers, read our reviews of the top VPN providers, and find the right solution for your needs.
VPNShazam offers industry-standard features. Some of its most prominent features include:
- Unlimited bandwidth
- Unlimited downloads
- Up to five users on a single account
- P2P support
- No-logging policy
- Real static IP
- 99.9% uptime
- Over 300,000 IPs worldwide
This is a decent feature set, but there’s still room for improvement. It lacks some important features, like the kill switch and leak protection feature, that should give further reassurance to customers if they are present. Even with this list, we still qualify VPNShazam’s feature set as top-notch.
Countries & servers
VPNShazam has an impressive server network consisting of over 18,000 servers and 300,000 IPs spread across 140 countries.
This server network falls into the ranks of top-quality VPN networks. VPNShazam has servers at some of the most popular countries, including:
- The US
- The UK
It is well-known that VPN providers that have many servers in many countries are also capable of producing seamless, uninterrupted VPN connections. That’s why, with a server network this big, VPNShazam is certainly ideal for geo-unblocking.
Speed & reliability
VPNShazam doesn’t share any precise information on its average speed. It does state that all its VPN servers are connected at least via 100-Mbps port and that they are never overloaded. VPNShazam, however, refrains from disclosing any specific information on its VPN connection speed and claims that speed is different for every customer:
Pricing & payments
VPNShazam offers two different pricing plans. Users get to choose between a regular pricing plan and one which includes dedicated IPs.
Both plans include five different subscription periods:
The longer your subscription plan is, the cheaper the price will be, with the two-year pricing plan offering the biggest savings.
VPNShazam accepts payments through PayPal, Alipay, Perfect Money, Coinbase, Paymentwall, CoinPayments, Skrill, and WebMoney.
VPNShazam offers quality customer support. It has a live chat and email support that are easily accessible on the bottom-right corner of its website. We weren’t able to reach the live chat support the moment we made contact, but we were notified that we would get an email at the earliest convenience. VPNShazam offers the following customer support:
- Knowledge base
- How-to guides
- Setup guides
This type of customer support is solid, but we would’ve been more impressed if the live chat support responded to our inquiries promptly. Nonetheless, we do like how its customer support is structured content-wise, but there’s still room for improvement.
Policies & logging
VPNShazam offers the following customer protection policies:
- Logging policy: VPNShazam claims to protect the privacy of its clients and won’t log or monitor any user activity while they’re using the VPN services.
- Refund policy: VPNShazam has a seven-day refund guarantee. All refund requests must be submitted within seven days from the date of purchase. All refunds are given within one business week.
These protection policies are not bad at all, but we believe that the company could offer a more flexible refund policy.
They are currently under consideration of being added to our list of the Best No-log VPN Providers!
VPNShazam is a good VPN provider, though it can still improve specific areas.
We liked most of its features, but it needs to upgrade its feature set and offer more advanced features, like a kill switch and leak protection. The most impressive thing about VPNShazam is its big server network. While customer support looks good on paper, the company didn’t respond to our inquiries when we reached out to its live chat support, which is not a good sign. VPNShazam also doesn’t guarantee the speed of its VPN connection. The protection policies are a little loose as well, especially the seven-day refund policy.
While VPNShazam is good, it still has some way to go to be ranked as a top VPN provider. Read our thorough reviews of the top VPN providers to find a reliable, trustworthy, and proven VPN provider.
