Identity Cloaker is a Czech-based VPN provider that claims to help users protect themselves from Internet spies and maintain their privacy. It runs 32 servers covering 16 countries. The company’s plans range from 10 days to a full year.
We found very little that sets Identity Cloaker apart from other providers. Its highlighted security features are fairly common in other providers. Its network is also far smaller than the established ones, giving users very few options.
We even found out that it does store users’ personal information, despite claiming a no-logs policy. This is made worse by the fact that it can hand over your data to authorities. We don’t recommend using this provider and instead suggest that you choose from our list of more capable VPN services.
Identity CLoaker VPN Features
Identity Cloaker’s main draw is its security features. The site claims to protect your Internet traffic using SSH tunneling and AES 256-bit military grade encryption. This creates a secure connection between you and the Internet. It also supports the OpenVPN protocol, adding another layer of protection.
The company says that its service can be used for two different connection setups. When connecting to the Internet directly from your home network, Identity Cloaker acts as an intermediary, masking your traffic from your ISP and external parties.
If you are connecting from a company or school that has its firewall, Identity Cloaker will help you bypass that firewall and let you access blocked sites.
Identity Cloaker provides a small app that runs on both Windows and MacOS X, as well as Android and iOS. It can also run on Linux but will require some additional setup based on the particular Linux version. The app even runs from a USB stick, letting you quickly use it on different machines.

Identity Cloaker operates a small network, with just 32 servers. It covers 16 different countries, including:
- Germany
- The Netherlands
- France
- Canada
The site says it is continuously looking for ways to expand its network and that customers can suggest more locations for expansion.
It is worth noting that Identity Cloaker itself states that many of its servers are rented from different data centers.
This can cause concerns about potential data leaks from such servers. If you want more location options and better server protection, we suggest that you look instead at what we call a Tier-1 Provider, such as IPVanish VPN, who owns all of their own servers.
Reliability & Speed Tests
Identity Cloaker claims that its server will be able to deliver good browsing speeds for customers. The company explains that it compresses your traffic data on the server side for faster connections. It does not provide exact speed numbers, which makes gauging its actual performance quite hard.
The site also imposes a cap of 30GB per month on the amount of data you can transfer through its network. While this allocation is fairly large, it is still a limitation and something you won’t find with more high-end VPN providers. If you want to surf sites without worrying about data caps or uncertain speeds, we suggest you get a provider like CyberGhost VPN.

Identity Cloaker offers several subscription terms, namely:
- 10 days: $5.59, serves as the service’s trial plan
- 30 days: $14.58
- Three months: $33.70 for the entire term
- Six months: $56.19 for the entire term
- 12 months: $89.92 for the entire term

The site reminds that orders coming from European Union member countries are subject to value-added tax unless you run an EU VAT-registered business. In the latter case, you need to present your EU VAT ID. Orders coming from the Czech Republic will still have the tax even if registering users have their EU VAT IDs.

Identity Cloaker mainly provides support via email. You can send your questions and inquiries to support@identitycloaker.com, but the company doesn’t give information on response time. You can also send a support ticket to specific departments like sales and customer support.

Identity Cloaker states that it does not store the addresses of the sites you visit. It does store the data you transfer only for the period required to hand over the data to its destination. The site even states that it does not use physical media, like hard drives, to cache your data.
As we found further in its privacy policy, the site does collect certain personal information from customers, including their name, contact details, and demographic information. The company also has a clause stating that it might hand over your information to law enforcement authorities if compelled. For a service that is supposed to hide your identity, this is a red flag. Because of that, we recommend you choose a better option in our list of no logs VPNs.

I have been using Identity Cloaker for more than three years. Partly in Tanzania, partly in Europe. I mainly use it when watching some sport events and it always works well for me. Online support has been always helpful.

Scam avvoid
Can’t login, either says password incorrect or reset twice, save your money! AVOID disillusioning how much fraud and false marketing there is online avoid avoid. Refund my money immediately life too short for your scams.
