Welcome one and all to an exciting edition of the most downloaded movies for July 8, 2105 list. …I could have written that better, but we’re not here for prose! We’re here for movies! Let’s see what going on in the world of p2p.
The most popular movie of the week is no surprise: The Legend of Tarzan. This retelling of the Tarzan saga also features Samuel L. Jackson. I hope there are no snakes or dinosaurs in this movie. Or Anakins. Another movie making its first appearance on the list is Me Before You. Well reviewed, haven’t seen it. A movie that has made the list which I must see is Barbershop: The Next Cut. Yes, I chose Nicki for the image above very deliberately.
For the second week in a row Independence Day: Resurgence is hanging around like the fart no one wants to take blame for. Seriously. Not even Will Smith wanted this move made, and he would have gotten MEGA PAID to be in it. Why do you expect me to pay to watch the leftovers? No thanks. A surprise showing by Batman v. Superman is fuelled by a 1080p version showing up. I paid to watch it in theatres, I think we all deserve a free copy after that missed opportunity.
I’m happy to see Whiskey Tango Foxtrot still hanging around. Tina Fey deserves to get paid. I’m also happy to see Zootopia on the list, good for the kids and all. But I am so, so sad to see How to be Single and The Huntsman: Winter’s War hanging around. If you have the urge to download either of these I would advise you to spend your bandwidth on The Young Ones. Old British TV show. You won’t regret it like you will these two pointless movies.
