All in all, we can say with absolute certainty that VIP72 is a below average VPN provider. There was nothing, in particular, that would entice us to try out its services.

VIP72 is a rather basic VPN service provider. From the first glance on its website, we got the impression that the site is way outdated and very unorganized. This company started in 2006, but by the looks of things, it hasn’t made significant progress in terms of quality.
According to its website, VIP72 is an open-source technology, providing a reliable crypto-communication channel for its users. It offers only the most basic features, and its customer support consists only of email support which is available only for customers. The pricing plans are unexpectedly steep, and the provider lacks a refund policy.

VIP72 VPN Features
There isn’t really much info presented on VIP72’s website. VIP72 is very limited in terms of features. It doesn’t have a dedicated feature section; we had to run all over its website and app to search for these features. From what little information we could find, VIP72 offers the following:

- High-speed connections without any traffic limits
- No-logging policy
- Compatible with Windows, MacOS, and Linux
- One device per account
Apart from providing VPN services, VIP72 also claims to offer proxy and Socks proxy services.
It lacks some basic features like a kill switch and leak protection. Its services are only dedicated to desktop devices, without alternative apps for smartphones or tablets (see out list of the best iPhone VPNs for more). We definitely wouldn’t trust it with our personal data.

Don’t confuse their VPN offerings with their proxy service, which has many more locations. Those locations, of course, are highly suspect to us as there is so little information about them.
That’s the extent of our knowledge regarding VIP72’s server network. With as little information as we could find out, all we can say is that this is an average server network that is definitely not suitable for geo-unblocking.
Reliability & Speed Tests
Just as it was the case with the previous sections, there was a lack of information about speed and reliability as well. All we were able to find on the website was a statement that VIP72 offers high-speed connections without any traffic limits, with no actual mention of what speed could be expected.
Pricing and Payments
VIP72’s entire website was such a mess that there’s not even a proper pricing section. You need to register first to have access to the pricing plans. After going through a lot of unnecessary trouble, we found that VIP72 is far more expensive than we would have thought.
As you can see, these pricing plans are not at all affordable. It is highly advisable to avoid them until you at least look at what a quality, yet cheap, VPN provider can be offered at.

We always mention that having a strong and well-organized customer support section is a must-have quality of top VPN providers. That’s one of the many reasons why VIP72 cannot be ranked as one of them. VIP72 offers only the following customer support:

That’s it. No FAQ, no blogs, no knowledge base, and most importantly, no live chat. This is not the kind of customer support you expect from a provider who will care about its clients.
POLICIES & LOGGING
This is probably the best thing about VIP72. Its customer protection policies actually look decent. VIP72 offers the following policies:
- Privacy policy: VIP72 won’t ask you to share private data during registration and when using its services. It doesn’t keep any emails of users and doesn’t use systems which need obligatory identification of users for accepting payments. It does use cookies to enhance the performance of its website according to your preferences.
- No-logging policy: VIP72 states that it doesn’t keep a history of your activity log while you’re using its services.
Although there are privacy and no-logging policies, VIP72 has one flaw—it missed on having a refund policy. Nowhere on the website do VIP72 state that users are eligible to request refunds. This is a major issue.
Expert Recommendation
All in all, we can say with absolute certainty that VIP72 is a below average VPN provider. There was nothing, in particular, that would entice us to try out its services. It lacks important features. It makes no guarantees on the speed of its VPN services. It doesn’t have a solid customer support section where we would be able to educate ourselves about its services.
Furthermore, VIP72 doesn’t have a refund policy, its server network is not adequately described, and the pricing plans are very expensive. In all honesty, we can’t recommend VIP72 as a VPN provider.
